UCC United are still looking for their first win after 4 draws out of 5 games in pre-season.
The final pre-season game, against County Council in Ballincollig ended 1-1 with each side scoring from the penalty spot. It was the second game in a row that referee Michael O'Flaherty awarded a dubious penalty against the College side (of course all penalties against UCC are dubious by definition). Hopefully it will not be a hat-trick in the first shield game against QC Data on Wednesday.
UCC United's scorer was Dave O'Sullivan. His second of the season though both came from set-pieces. The first was a corner against County Council in the University Shield.
