It's an indication of how bad the summer is when pre-season matches fall foul of the rain.
The first round of matches in the University Shield were postponed due to waterlogged pitches at the Farm.
The competition will hopefully get under way on Sunday morning with UCC United v Cashs Export and LC Services v County Council with a 10.45 kick-off.
Tonight's (Wednesday's) matches will be rescheduled for late next week.
