The UCC United Player of the Year for 2007/08 is Ronan O'Dubhghaill. Despite suffering from two serious injuries during the season, Ronan made a big impression at centre half and the side was much more solid when he was available. Having previously played in the league with EMC, the award which was voted by all club members, Ronan clearly impressed his team mates with his calm control at centre half. Hopefully Ronan can stay injury-free for the coming season and if so UCC United will have a stronger hand in their push for promotion.
